With vandalism and burglary becoming a part of daily life it is now widely recognised
that there is a need to design and install a security shutter into new builds.
Doortecs System has been designed as an attractive roller shutter solution which has
the roller and guides concealed within the building fabric using special lintel and
brickwork detail to give an unobrtusive appearance when raised or lowered as well
as being more secure.
Operation of the shutters is normally motorised using tubular motors, with a choice of
switching arrangements from individual to group and zoned control which can be tailored to suit your requirements.
All curtain profiles have been specially designed with security in mind and are the 
strongest
available.

Doortec Roller Shutters are available in Galvanised Steel [colour coated if required] or Insulated Aluminium.
Aluminium Rolling roller shutters are manufactured from powder coated foam filled (CFC free) roll formed aluminium. Combining the convenience of power operation with the advantage of a smooth vertical opening action , you can park right up to the door and the pocket size transmitter enables you to open & close the door from the security of your car. The compact coiling up of the door curtain creates more space within garage for extra storage
or to allow access for high top vehicles. 
Aluminium foam filled lath profile 77mm or 55mm deep, suitable for garage doors up to 5
metres (16'3") wide and 2.9 metres(9'6") high. The excellent coiling characteristics means
that the tallest of these doors only need a 300mm head box. The door curtain weighs 5 kg
per square metre, providing good protection against damage or forced entry. A strong extruded aluminium bottom rail, with a flexible seal is added to the door curtain. The door is supplied with powder coated extruded aluminium side guides ( with inserted seals) and a powder coated roll formed aluminium casing to cover the roller mechanism.
A powerful electric motor 240v 1phase, is used with built in up & down travel control limits , the unit also contains an emergency manual hand winding mechanism. For extra security doors are fitted with " Autolocking" anti lift system and in compliance with European regulations an "antifall back" safety brake is incorporated incase of a motor component failure.
Controls & Options:-Hand held remotes, security key switches, push button stations , light features , battery back units(UPS)
Colours & Finishes:-White & Dark Brown are the standard colours , there is a range of 12 other colours that can be supplied ( ask for samples) together with 2 textured wood grain finishes. Door guides , bottom rails and head casings are supplied in white or brown.
